If you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorized access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner.
Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering or placing an order.
VSTEP reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.
We will do our utmost to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.
You must not use the Site in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the Site or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.
You understand that you, and not VSTEP, are responsible for all electronic communications and content sent from your computer to us and you must use the website for lawful purposes only.
You must not use the Site for any of the following:
- for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offense or other unlawful activity
- to send, use or reuse any material that is illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing; or in breach of copyright, trademark, confidence, privacy or any other right; or is otherwise injurious to third parties; or objectionable; or which consists of or contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any "spam"
- to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site immediately and without notice to you if:
- you fail to make any payment to us when due or revoke a payment without written permission from VSTEP;
- you breach the terms of this Agreement (repeatedly or otherwise);
- when requested by us to do so, you fail to provide us within a reasonable time with sufficient information to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity;
- we suspect you have engaged, or about to engage, or have in any way been involved, in fraudulent or illegal activity on the Site.
This website or any portion of this website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
All content included on the website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of VSTEP and is protected by Dutch and international copyright, authors rights and database right laws.
If a product's correct price is lower than the price stated on the Site, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than the price stated on the Site, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
All prices are in Euro or US Dollar and include taxes (where applicable). Shipping cost will be calculated after signing in to the Site and after reaching the “Checkout” section of the order process.
Prices, products and availability are subject to change without prior notice.
The Site accepts payments using the following methods:
- Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard CreditCard
- iDeal Debit Card transactions (Only available for customers in The Netherlands)
All transactions are debited immediately after processing the order. Shipment will occur the first working day after the order has been processed.
Shipments may occasionally be lost in transit. If you do not receive your product that we have sent to you (please allow four working days - plus the expected delivery time for your country - from dispatch), then send us an email to the email address given in the “Customer services” section of this notice. We will as soon as possible send you a replacement product.
We may suspend delivery of products to you if any shipment sent to your address is returned to us as undeliverable. If we do suspend delivery, we will ask you by email to confirm your shipping address. If a shipment sent to you is returned to us as undeliverable on more than one occasion, we may cancel your order and give you a full refund.
When ordering products from VSTEP for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
All items sold on the Site are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Laws and Regulations.
This service, available at the time of purchase, provides the user the right to re-download the downloadable product(s) on that order within 1 (one) year of the date of purchase, for the sole purpose of reinstalling a replacement copy of such product(s) on the user's computer in the event the user has reformatted his/her hard drive, inadvertently uninstalled the product(s), changed computers or other similar situation.
Such right to re-download shall only apply to the product(s) originally purchased by the user. The re-downloaded product(s) shall be considered a replacement of the originally purchased product(s) and will continue to be subject to the applicable product End User License Agreement ("EULA").
The user should print and retain a copy of the “Order Confirmation” and “Download link” e-mail messages for his/her records at all times.
VSTEP can not guarantee a certain uptime or download speed for their download service.
We are unable to exchange or refund products that are not defective or incorrect.
Refunds can only be requested up to seven days after the order has been processed. Refunds can only be issued if a support representative concludes the product as defective. Since downloadable items are non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds for non-defective products once the order is accomplished and the product download link is sent. As a customer you are responsible for understanding this upon purchasing any item at our site.
Please note that we do not bear any responsibility and therefore we do not satisfy any refund requests based on incompatibility of our products with insufficient hardware. It is the customer's duty to properly inform themselves about the minimum system requirements which are shown on each individual product page.
VSTEP cannot accept returns of products purchased from third-party sellers.
Refunds can be requested by sending us an email to the email address given in the “Customer services” section of this notice.
Please contact our Customer Service department in case of:
- a request for a full refund
- a shipment that has not been received up to four days after the expected delivery time
- a payment has been done by mistake
- no email messages have arrived one hour after your order has been processed
- a product has been delivered that is defective, damaged or incorrect
VSTEP tries to answer all email messages within 48 hours of it's arrival. Email messages are only answered during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, excluding public holidays. These times are based on the CET timezone (GMT +01:00).
